A FastCat catamaran service runs between Wightlink's Portsmouth Harbour Terminal, located next to the railway station, and Ryde Pier Head. Journeys take around 15 minutes, and leave every half hour during peak times.Facilities include fully-licensed cafe.

Wightlink's largest car ferries run the route between Portsmouth Gunwharf, in the heart of the city, and Fishbourne. Journeys take around 35 minutes and sail every half hour throughout most of the day. Facilities include fully-licensed buffets serving hot and cold snacks, and gift shops.
